Small sketch I did after life drawing class last week.
I spent a fair amount of time on this. At least more so than usual.
Although after looking at it for a while I don't think the composition
really emphasizes the drama of the situation. I think I'll be re-
working this tomorrow. My goal with this idea is to take it as far as
I can. Really need to push myself to the limits if I want to improve!

Nice! I have no advice on the technique side, but perhaps the snake should be looking more at the guy in the boat, since it seems to be looking more off in another direction(the body position is good, just the eyes I guess). The guy in the boat also seems off in his stance or position, as though his body has not reacted to the ocean, the sinking boat, etc. Think physics I guess. Otherwise, good work, I can see how much you have improved in the last year, keep up the hard work, the results show!
